About this event

Celebrations honouring the Virgen del Carmen, patron of sailors, in Playa Blanca (Yaiza). On 16 July, a street procession and a performance by Los Sabandeños; on the 19th, beach inflatables, Canarian wrestling, a tribute concert and a verbena; and on the 20th, the Eucharist and the moving maritime procession, with the Virgin’s image taken to sea accompanied by parranda music.
