Wild sands beneath the cliffs
A vast, windswept beach running for kilometres beneath the towering Famara cliffs, with La Graciosa on the horizon. Its Atlantic swell and steady wind make it the island’s home of surfing, bodyboarding and kitesurfing, with several surf schools in Caleta de Famara. Strong currents mean it is for surfing and walking more than gentle swimming.
