Puerto del Carmen
The island’s liveliest resort
Lanzarote’s original resort runs for several kilometres along the south-east coast. The Avenida de las Playas promenade links golden beaches such as Playa Grande and Playa Chica with shops, bars and restaurants, while the old harbour at the western end keeps a fishing-village feel, with seafood terraces and the water taxi to Puerto Calero.
