Salinas de Janubio
Lanzarote’s working salt flats
The largest salt pans in the Canary Islands, a patchwork of pink, white and ochre pools where sea salt is still harvested by hand as it has been for over a century. The viewpoint above the salinas is a favourite at sunset, when the light turns the pools every shade of rose and gold.
